Type 444 is a low-carbon, low nitrogen, ferritic stainless steel that provides
pitting and crevice corrosion
resistance superior
to most ferritic stainless steels.Applications requiring superior corrosion
resistance and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking are ideal for
this alloy. Current uses include food processing, brewery and wine-making
equipment; hot-water tanks and heatexchanger tubing and automotive
components.

?鐵素體不銹鋼具有低成本、低熱膨脹率和耐高溫氧化的優(yōu)點,所以鐵素體不銹鋼已廣泛應(yīng)用于汽車排氣系統(tǒng)中。傳統(tǒng)的奧氏體不銹鋼如AISI304和AISI316L被廣泛應(yīng)用于汽車排氣系統(tǒng)的高溫端排氣歧管中,溫度可達(dá)到1000℃及以上。近年來,Type444等高溫端用鐵素體不銹鋼已大量替代上述奧氏體不銹鋼,主要是由于節(jié)鎳而降低生產(chǎn)成本,同時相比于奧氏體不銹鋼其具有較低的熱膨脹系數(shù),更好的耐高溫氧化性能和高溫?zé)崞谛阅堋?/span>
寶鋼研究院的學(xué)者采用增重法研究了排氣系統(tǒng)用Type444鐵素體不銹鋼在1000℃空氣中的高溫抗氧化性能,并結(jié)合X射線衍射(XRD)、掃描電鏡(SEM)、能譜分析(EDS)及輝光光譜(GDS)分析技術(shù),對氧化膜的形貌和組成進行了分析。結(jié)果表明:Type444鐵素體不銹鋼在1000℃下連續(xù)氧化100h,氧化動力學(xué)曲線按照拋物線線型氧化規(guī)律變化,氧化激活能為(277.5±10)kJ·mol-1,表面氧化膜由連續(xù)致密的Cr2O3組成,具有良好的高溫抗氧化性能。鈮和鉬元素擴散至Fe2(Nb,?Mo)Laves相,其氧化物顆粒會充當(dāng)沉淀物從氧化膜表面逆擴散至基體和氧化膜界面處的孔洞里,從而降低了其在高溫下的氧化速率,提高了抗高溫氧化性能。
